Farewell from Marcia —

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

For those of you who participated in NASFA’s national conference this May in Salt Lake City, you are aware of my upcoming retirement; however, for others, this may be the first you’re hearing of this.  Yes, it’s true, I will be retiring, and my last day will be Monday, July 7, 2025.

I have been with the National Association of State Facilities Administrators (NASFA) for 31 years and the Council of State Governments (CSG) for 36 years.  My position as NASFA’s executive director helped me grow and learn so much, and I'm deeply thankful for that.  It has been a privilege to work for and with some of the most talented and dedicated people across the nation.  I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given and the relationships I have built over the years.

In my retirement, my goal is to spend time with my family, hopefully do some traveling, and see what adventures await.  Although it will be an odd change of pace, I am excited about it!

I want to thank everyone for their support and friendship over the years.  I hope we can keep in touch and remain friends.

Take care,
Marcia Stone
