The University of Texas System (UTS) oversees 14 universities and independent health institutions. UTS’ Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a multiyear multi-billion-dollar program for new construction and repair and rehabilitation projects.

Chris Macon is responsible for providing the guidance and resources needed to ensure reliable execution, assessment, and reporting of the UT System Capital Improvement Program.  Prior to joining UT System in 2004, he spent over twenty years as an architect in the advanced technology, research, manufacturing, higher education, commercial, and institutional sectors. In addition, he helped form a successful startup company specializing in intelligent 3D design applications and services.

John’s expertise also includes real world knowledge of all the major project and facilities solutions available today.
