Pathways to Achieving Flood Risk Reduction & Resilience for Public Real Estate Assets

This webinar will offer a methodology to assess climate vulnerability to flood risk and develop a flood risk mitigation plan. Resiliency will be explained through its components, including: business continuity, adaptability to changes in weather conditions and property redundancy through design condition considerations and solution screening methodologies.

Edgar Westerhof is a Water Consultant with 18 years of experience in integrated (urban) water management and has a deep understanding of urban and industrial flood proofing concepts, infrastructure planning and design waterfront development and international water management concepts.

Horacio Martinez
has 10 years of experience as an engineer, nearly three of which have been dedicated to preparing flood risk assessment reports, stormwater modeling, conducting engineering inspections, and designing temporary and permanent flood protection systems.

Michael Bedard
has more than 25 years of experience in project management, site assessment, design, construction and O&M for a wide variety of environmental and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities have included managing site investigations, risk assessments, remedial technology screening and alternatives analysis.

Matt Yonkin is the National Lead for Energy Services and has nearly 25 years of experience focusing on energy efficiency, renewable generation, process optimization and water resources solutions for municipal and industrial clients.  He has served as technical lead or project manager on hundreds of energy and energy-related assignments throughout the US, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands including a number of statewide energy initiatives.
