This presentation explores contractual concerns related to the use of Building Information Modeling. Delve into Digital Practice Documents and how they can be used to contractually structure the use of Building Information Modeling on a Project. Also see how some states are modifying standard documents to create custom, state specific documents for their use.
     
  

PRESENTER:

Michael B. Bomba, Esq. is a Director and Counsel on the AIA Contract Documents team at the American Institute of Architects, Washington, DC. Michael has been with the AIA Contract Documents team for nearly 13 years and works actively in the creation and revision of AIA Contract Documents. He oversaw the development of the AIA’s Building Information Modeling Documents.  Michael obtained his J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law in 2002. Prior to joining the AIA, Michael worked at a private law firm in Washington, DC, representing design professionals in corporate and litigation matters. Michael is a member of the bar in both the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
