- The Architect is a permanent, full-time position within the Department of Finance, Real Property Management, Division of Construction Management (DCM). Position is located in DCM's Montgomery office within the Project Management Division.

- Supervises and administers state agency projects assigned to DCM to ensure compliance with state laws, DCM procedures and other regulations.

- This is professional and administrative architectural work in reviewing designs and coordinating with
state agencies and architectural/engineering firms for the construction of buildings and facilities throughout the state.

- Provides support to state agencies, facilitates their contract paperwork and assists with their project/time management.

• Eight years of responsible experience in the design, design review, construction, and contracting of commercial type buildings as a registered Architect.

• Current registration with the Alabama Board of Registration of Architects. Include your registration number on your application.

• Open-Competitive to all applicants.
• An Evaluation of Training and Experience as shown on the application will comprise 100% of the final score for the open competitive register.
