Brine Buildings: History and Development of Brine Making and the requisite Brine Manufacturing & Storage Buildings

Webinar Date:
      February 22, 2018 at 1:30 pm ET
Have you ever wondered about the origins of the material that creates the white parallel lines on the road that many of us in the northern climates observe before a winter storm arrives?  Please join us for the February Learning Series presentation on the history and development of brine making and the evolution of brine making and storage facilities.  We will explore the origins of the manufacturing of brine and the facilities that began in Iowa with a couple of galvanized livestock watering tanks before moving into a simple staff built structure resembling a single car garage and have evolved in to complex brine making, storage and reclamation facilities that can exceed a half million dollars. We hope you can join us for one of the most talked about topics at the 2017 NASFA national conference and one that garnered an almost cult like following.  Until then, we hope the brine your local transportation department applies to your roadways will make your travels safer during this winter season that has seen record snowfalls in the north as well as far south.

Feel free to share this invitation with your peers. Everyone is welcome to participate.
