uties: Architect/Senior Architect: Under general supervision, evaluates and reviews designs, drawings and specifications for new buildings/structures and for renovation projects. Serves as the point of contact on construction projects for all building codes, applicable state, federal and local laws.

Minimum Qualifications:

Architect: Completion of an undergraduate degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of diversified and related experience in design, construction document review, building/fire codes and construction administration. Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel statewide.

Senior Architect: Completion of an undergraduate degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of diversified and related experience in design, construction document review, building/fire codes and construction administration. Must have an active Registration in Architecture in the State of Georgia. Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel statewide.

Competencies:

Architect: Considerable knowledge of building construction documents, Georgia State Minimum Standards, Georgia State Fire and Accessibility Codes and the Americans with Disability Act is required. Must possess the ability to read and interpret contracts, personal initiative and be capable of planning and prioritizing work. Must be committed to construction documents and Building and Life Safety Codes. Demonstrates strong ability to use Microsoft Office Suites.

Senior Architect: Considerable knowledge of building construction documents; considerable knowledge of the telecommunications Industry Standards and the National Electrical Code. Must possess the ability to read and interpret contracts, construction documents and Building and Life Safety Codes. Ability to: observe, compare, and/or monitor data to determine compliance with prescribed operating or safety standards. Demonstrates strong ability to use Microsoft Office Suites.

Working Conditions: The work is typically performed in an office environment, but there is some required travel in the State of Georgia.

Hiring Salary Range:

Architect : $65,000.00 - $75,000.00

Senior Architect : $75,000.00 - $85,000.00
