Travel Information Hotel Information The historic and spectacular Jackson Lake Lodge, set in the heart of Grand Teton National Park, is the site of the 2008 NASCA & NASFA National Conference & Resource Expo and all related activities.   Special sleeping room rates are available until Monday, May 5, 2008 at the Jackson Lake Lodge. These rooms are held on a first come, first serve basis and will go quickly.   The majority of rooms at Jackson Lake Lodge are hotel style accommodations, although they are located in cabin-like buildings surrounding the lodge. Most rooms have two double beds, full bathrooms, telephones, coffee pots, irons, ironing boards and hairdryers. There are no TVs or radios in the rooms. Most rooms have views of the east side of the park, facing a wooded and meadow area. The Grand Teton Lodge Company (GTLC) owns and operates the Jackson Lake Lodge.   The conference rate is first-come, first-serve to NASCA & NASFA attendees at nightly rate of $129.00 single/double occupancy, plus 6% tax. Make room reservations by calling the Jackson Lake Lodge at 1-800-628-9988 and ask for the NASCA & NASFA conference rate. The hotel must receive reservations no later than Monday, May 5, 2008. Reservations received after the May 5th will be confirmed on a space availability basis at the conference rate. The group rate will be honored three (3) days prior to and after the conference.   IMPORTANT: Hotel Cancellation Information: Upon making a sleeping room reservation, GTLC requires a deposit equal to the room rate and tax for the first and last night of each reservation. The deposit is refundable to that individual (minus a $30 cancellation handling fee) if GTLC receives notice of an individual’s cancellation, or change of dates/length of stay, at least 7 days prior to the scheduled arrival. Cancellations or changes to the length of stay within 7 days of arrival will be charged room and tax for all nights of the reservation.   Airports & Airline Information Jackson Airport The Jackson Hole Airportaccommodates the following major and regional airlines: American, Delta, Northwest, Skywest, United and United Express. Idaho Falls, Idaho Airport Another option for air travel is the Idaho Falls Regional Airport, approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Jackson Hole, WY and 2 1/2 hours from Jackson Lake Lodge. A car will need to be rented from Idaho Falls airport as that is the only transportation option to Jackson Lake Lodge. Airlines serving Idaho Falls Airport are Alaska Airlines, Delta Airlines and Horizon Airlines.  Ground Transportation Options Airport shuttle provided by the Jackson Lake Lodge, operated by the Grand Teton Lodge Company (GTLC) Shuttle service is provided by the Grand Teton Lodge Company (GTLC) to/from the Jackson Airport and the Jackson Lake Lodge. This service is only available by reservation. You can reserve the airport shuttle service when you make your room reservations by calling Jackson Lake Lodge at 1-800-628-9988 or 307-543-3005. The roundtrip cost for 2008 was $66.00 per person. The shuttle cost includes tax and the $12 per person national park entrance fee (7-day inclusive coverage for the Grand Teton & Yellowstone national park entrance fees). You should ask the shuttle drive for a receipt that reflects the national park entrance fee payment. Alltrans Transportation Company If the Jackson Lake Lodge shuttle does not work for your arrival and/or departure schedule, there is another company, Alltrans, that provides ground transportation from Jackson Hole Airport to Jackson Lake Lodge for a fee. If you select a rental car company not located at the airport you will be transported to downtown Jackson, which is the opposite direction of the park entrance. Please be aware that the JacksonLake Lodge is located in the Grand TetonNational Park and there is national park entrance fee. The fee is $25 per vehicle for 7-days, which is inclusive coverage for the Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks.
